There are a thousand reasons to visit the new Sundance Saloon.  Here are just a few you won’t want to miss! This multi-use country/western establishment provides a unique experience for those who like to dance and have fun, while also providing services and catering for businesses, conventions, meetings and special events.

The Sundance Saloon had been a fixture in Mundelein Illinois…seemingly forever. Originally known as Mickey’s Honkey Tonk and The Big Horn, the club was renamed Sundance Saloon in 1985 and has maintained that name since.  We are reported to be the oldest continuous country/western establishment in the State of Illinois.

In an effort to continue the success and growth of the Sundance Saloon, we determined the need to expand our operations - which led us north, just 10 minutes from our existing location to - 300 Lakehurst Road – the corner of State Route 120 and Lakehurst Drive (one half mile off Interstate 94 - just south of Great America). 

This hero won’t go away – he just got on a different horse!

With 62,000 sq ft on two levels and an enlarged stage – we are able to support both local and national musical talent. On any given night enjoy our in house DJ who keeps the floor hopping on the 4000 (approx) sq ft dance floor.  Complimentary line and couples dancing will be taught most evenings.

Two restaurants will serve our customers in all areas of the club as well as those desiring food service within the community.  Needing function space? Our 13,000 sq ft of function space on the upper level (divisible by three) supported by the fine dining restaurant offers a unique alternative to your typical banquet hall or hotel for your special occasion, celebration, corporate event or wedding.

Imagine…seating on the main level for several thousand people, line and couples dance lessons, a gift shop and games area, satellite bars, flights of martini’s and bourbons, chilled shots of vodka and tequila and ongoing internal promotions are just some of the exciting amenities you can come to expect at Sundance Saloon.

When all is said and done – the Sundance Saloon continues to be the leader in good old fashioned country/western hospitality and superior customer service!
